The best of the best for birds

These are the best and most durable capes for our "super" rodent parrot! They actually last at least 2 weeks, and even if they get wet while "showering" (using a spray bottle outside) you can let them dry in the sun and put them back on the perch. The sand/gravel coating is not washed off with water. #1 rating from our bird!

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

They do what they're supposed to do

We use them with our parrot for what they're supposed to do. Naturally protect the bird's claws from overgrowth. And we've never had a problem with growing bird claws, that's all. They're small, as the name suggests, quite small, so make sure they fit over the ledges you'll be covering with them.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Zero

I was glad I found her!

I wanted them for the top of the birdcage. He was always upstairs and sat on the edge. I took them out, opened them up and laid them on the edge. They worked great so with them and some sandpaper on the flat part he was able to keep the nails from getting too long. Due to a wing feather injury on one side, he was unable to fly before we adopted him 26 years ago. He was the cutest bird and we loved him very much. He passed away a week ago and I miss him so much.

Pros
  • Good job
Cons
  • Not bad but...

I basically threw them away as soon as I got them

When sanding pending bunk covers, Q&A says they fall apart for a secure fit, but this completely destroys the structural integrity of the covers (which are basically cardboard that's sanded over a light adhesive), and not even that external adhesive. which you can use to attach it to your existing perches. The whole package was covered in sand, which spilled out everywhere and didn't stop even after fiddling with perches for a long time. As other reviews have mentioned sand comes off incredibly

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Clarity
