🐠 Efficient Brine Shrimp Aquarium Net by Penn Plax: A Must-Have for Aquatic Enthusiasts Review

This is the net I had to replace with one so old and worn I would have bought it from a local shop but couldn't find one. thick fluffy? Like another thin mesh I tried (the bugs got stuck in the weave). I use it for collecting live food and it's important that the tiny critters don't get stuck in the weave. Gladly also in 4" size, as most brine shrimp nets are smaller.

I use this net most of the time for all kinds of services as it suits the small fish that have. However, it seems to be missing some brine shrimp, around 10-15%. Maybe that's the way it is with such small creatures and I'm expecting too much. I just strain through a glass and then strain the runaways again through a coffee filter as I only have a few fish that eat them so I grow small batches and every street. If you're cultivating in bulk, who cares about a few outliers.

The devil is in the details. This net is exactly what it says it is, a net for Artemia. I've been an aquarist for 45 years and have never met a single person who would grow Artemia and needs just that. However, every hobbyist will one day need a brine shrimp net (bbs) and they are readily available. My old BBS mesh was rotten so I had to find a replacement.
