Great Value!: Cages and Accessories

My Quaker Parrot loves this swing, this makes a good perch for her. It's well built and reasonably priced. I am very happy with this purchase! Penn Plax Cockatiel Bird Swing

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Outdoor

Made for the cockatiel but this thing is huge

This thing is huge and looks like it was made for a bigger bird than the cockatiel. 2 cockatiels easily fit on this thing, so my bird doesn't enjoy it as much as my old custom swing set that was destroyed.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Sometimes just better

My little birds (parrots, lovebirds) love this swing. I bought a fancier swing (beaded sides, natural wood pole) but ended up taking it out of the cage and replacing it with one of these because none of my birds wanted to use the fancy swing.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Volume

Be careful. Little birds may get hurt

Be careful when buying this swing. If the base wire is bent, the wood will not lie flat. My cockatiel latched onto her paw twice. I ended up having to glue the tree down until I could buy a new swing.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

This swing is for cockatiels

This swing is for cockatiels, the description even shows the cockatiel. So yes, not for your little bird. As soon as I put this swing in the birdcage, he immediately jumped on it and sang. We have a nice big cage for him so he fits great.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

. I have a Senegalese Gray Parrot and this is a good sized perch for him

I have a Senegalese Gray Parrot and this is a good sized perch for him. It usually lasts months but can only take him 3 days to chew on it when he's in one of those moods so I was happy to find one at such a great price.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen
