These perch covers are much easier to use than other perch covers I have used in the past. They are also stronger and last longer.

They were expensive considering they are essentially sandpaper pods but my budgies love using them and need them for clipping nails and beaks.

I have bought these other brands of perch covers and my birds love them! You won't touch them - not at all! When you first unpack them, they are covered in loose sand. I would not recommend buying these.

I bought this for my husband's grandmother's bird. The bird liked it and his grandmother was pleased. The bird ate the sandpaper so it didn't last long. If they were thicker, we might have lasted longer.

The sandpaper only covers part of the longer perch so my 25 year old cockatiel doesn't stand in the sand all the time and risk irritation. He also likes to gnaw sandpaper. It's good that they come in 4 packs as I swap them out once they're smooth.

They're a little smaller than they claim, not quite 3/4" but they still work fine on its perch. I hope they help with his claws as he is a savior and not friendly at all so cutting his claws is quite difficult. Despite being part of the family for over 50 years, he still won't let us keep him.

This is ridiculous. They constantly pour "sand". The box they came in was full of 'sand' even though they are in a plastic bag - it leaks. My bird kept cleaning his paws when I dressed him because his paws were covered in "sand" and all the dirt flew all over the place. I put them on a stand and had to constantly sweep all the sand off the countertop and floor. I would not recommend them.
