Does not work; The scraper leaves small scratches on the algae instead of removing them in leaves. They are also troublesome; The handles are hollow and will fill with water with use.

I thought I could use this to remove algae - no it didn't work. Even the included "sharp" tool made little difference. The only reason I kept it was so I can attach this tool to a sponge. Other than that, it's useless.

I have a 32 inch deep aquarium and no other scrubber has worked very well they all bend. This is strong and sturdy and cleans glass perfectly as expected. It's not magic, it still needs brushing to remove the green, but it works.

Whilst the scrubbing portion works well the scraper was not straight so it didn't remove debris from my tank walls. The knob comes loose on its own after about 2 minutes so I have to keep tightening it. I would recommend finding a better product.

I tried this because of the scraper head. The scrubber was very flimsy and mostly useless, the scraper worked well but the rounded corners were bent the first time I used it and I found later that it left scratches on the glass. This was the worst part of this experience. Cannot repair scratches. Returning it was easy, as usual with Revain.

A well thought out and very well made item. The reversible stainless steel blade is not as sharp as a knife, it is blunt with square edges for scraping limescale off glass. It's easy to use and very effective. I removed years of scale from my 125 gallon tank in less than 30 minutes without ever getting wet hands. The included sponge tip is designed to regularly remove new algae. The process becomes easier and more thorough once mineral deposits are gone and you are cleaning clean glass.
