We've been hanging vertical sheets of drywall in my basement and this tool was a must, even for two people. Don't bother with something fancier, this thing is solid enough to get the job done. It is cheap and easy on fingers, muscles and temperament. Allows you to hold the sheet to the wall indefinitely while you or someone else drive a few screws into the drywall to hold it. You can also use it to easily move the drywall from side to side while supporting it.

Good tool, very useful for leveling drywall. I originally bought this based on the good reviews but wasn't sure why it was so valuable. When I installed my first sheet of drywall I found that it didn't line up exactly with the edge of the wall and I had to adjust it for a better fit. This is described as a "drywall lift" and according to the reviews it does the job well but I use it for something else. I need to lift legs or corners of heavy furniture onto heavy, low-height carts (one leg or corner per cart). I have had other elevators made specifically for my purpose, but I have found that they are not as strong, not as stable, and cost a lot more than Pentagon elevators.
