Good tool, very useful for leveling drywall. I originally bought this based on the good reviews but wasn't sure why it was so valuable. When I installed my first sheet of drywall I found that it didn't line up exactly with the edge of the wall and I had to adjust it for a better fit. And here is the foot lift; I placed it in a corner of the drywall and raised that edge until the edge of the sheet was even with the corner of the wall. Without this, the drywall will have to press down tightly or pull away from the floor.
