Pentair OMNIFilter Sediment Replacement Cartridge Review

This product seems unrelated to the lack of a filter. I recommend their HD filter, it removes a lot more even though it costs twice as much and lasts half as long when our water is much cleaner.

We've been using them on water filters around the house for the past year. Stay subscribed and save. Noticed this tag on the one that arrived today. I don't know if they were on the previous ones or not. There were no problems with filters. Seems to be working as they should.

Improves water quality throughout the home. We can definitely see, touch and feel the difference with these filters. We live in a city with poor water quality and we have to change it every 90 days instead of 180 days. They really help our water conditions. There are no water stains in the toilets, it is better in the showers, the smell is removed.

I tried the Culligan filter recommended replacement for this Omnifilter and had rusty water for 2 weeks. After pulling out the culligan, it broke in two and fell to the ground. I will always use the omni filter as long as I have this syatem. After two months it's holding together and is still as hard as new. The Omnifilter also slows water flow before it lets in rust and sand. No comparison, I sold Omnifilter.

These are standard RS6 filters made in Mexico. They must be changed more often than indicated. I take well water and get about a month from a filter. Although they filter out most of the sediment, a significant portion of it still passes through. But I'm still much better off with the Omnifilter B7 and these cartridges than without where I had to clean my washing machine screen about every 5 loads or so!
