A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

Since 2022, I have been working, shooting in the most difficult light and color conditions, and these are always individual settings for different conditions. The main problem in my shooting conditions is the lack of lighting. Well, picking up a new K-1 Mark II camera, I radically changed my attitude to the lack of light, and was really surprised at the speed of focusing, this was really impressive in the camera. The camera behaves confidently in theatrical photography, very good in…

Pros
  • The dynamic range is very wide, shooting in RAW in any camera settings (compared to k-5), two SD cards with different recording options, the processing speed of the footage, given the very complex tasks that you set for the camera, the ability to work with high ISO and low noise on them, the automatic detection of the installed lens on the camera (crop or Ful) helps a lot to determine the boundaries of the frame in the viewfinder if the lens is cropped. The ringing sharpness with a full matrix and a decent lens, the optical shift of the matrix, I really admired the work of autofocus and even its work in low light. And you can watch the work of tracking autofocus for a very long time on an excellent rotary screen. By the way, the follower works very correctly and perfectly. GPS, HDR and many other interesting things, there are many advantages. I listed those that I especially liked and immediately.
Cons
  • it's hard to say for two months somehow I didn't find it

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

Historically, since 1999 I have been shooting with pentax equipment. First there was the mz-5n camera, then the k10. Now decided on k1. With k10, there were initially problems with white balance and focusing, which were resolved after a visit to the sc. K1 liked me from the first picture. Brightness, natural colors, a huge number of settings and ergonomics. You can use old optics. Shooting full frame is more natural in terms of composition. Haven't tried astrogide yet.

Pros
  • Picture quality. White balance, color rendition is very pleasing. No matter what they say, but a full frame is a full frame. You don’t have to move 10 meters away from the subject to get everything into the frame. Pretty fast autofocus. Ergonomics are top notch. Very comfortable to hold, logical control. Lots of settings. Two slots for a memory card. Selective recording at the touch of a button in raw format. Very quiet camera. Compared, for example, with canon, it works almost silently. The list goes on. :)
Cons
  • Still, it's heavy. I took with a 28-105 lens for travel. After a while, you realize that you have a significant burden on your shoulder. From 24-70, it will probably be unbearable. The battery is still weak. Even without live view mode, it ends pretty quickly. Photos are recorded in folders by day. It would be more convenient to just write to the shared folder. Transferring a photo to a phone via wifi is very slow. After the purchase for the lens, I had to set the autofocus correction at level 7. (front focus). Focus sometimes misses.

A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

Uncontested in terms of "price-quality" camera. Used with different lenses, including those designed for crop. The result is excellent. ISO 12800 is quite working. Not "blue" or "yellow" (like some), color reproduction and dynamic range are very good. White balance is accurate in almost all modes.

Pros
  • An excellent camera in every way! Including in relation to the price. An incredible number of different settings. Very well implemented "auto" mode. That is, in this camera, you can safely set many of the settings to the "auto" mode, and this will correspond to the "manual", but suffered after a series of test frames. Autofocus is accurate and very fast. The menu is intuitive, with every "deep" setting option easily accessible. The optics for this camera are great! Something from the FA film range is also suitable. Some Pentax DA "stars" also work. Learn more about vignetting. The picture is lively, atmospheric, "tube". The GPS module is fast and accurate. Geodata will be very helpful when cataloging photos. Thoughtful, comfortable grip, partially compensating for the considerable weight of the camera. 2 slots for memory cards. You can record RAW and non-RAW at the same time on different cards.
Cons
  • Weight. But only she. Perhaps the display is still limited in terms of turning off. It's just a camera, not a camcorder. Video is better not to shoot, in any case, high-quality. There is no built-in flash, but for cameras of this level this is the norm. Not touch display.

Despite some redundancy of the camera for me, as a non-professional, I decided to buy this particular camera. It seems to be the perfect camera for me. Pros below: I was looking for a camera to replace my worn-out DSLR from Pentax, released in 2022. Thanks to the possibility of a test drive, tested KP. Excellent camera, good for everyone, but somewhat uncomfortable in the hands. Well, all the same crop. And, although I am not a professional photographer, I decided to test the top K-1 Mark II as

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Not even close to being challenged as the best camera you can buy for the money. Compatible with a variety of lenses, including crop-specific options. The end product is fantastic. It's fairly usable at ISO 12800. Neither "blue" nor "yellow" (as some would have you believe), excellent color accuracy and wide tonal range. The white balance is accurate in practically all of the modes.

Pros
  • This camera excels in every respect. Not least in terms of cost. There are a staggering variety of environments to explore. The "auto" mode is superbly implemented. That is, after a few test shots, you can confidently leave many of the camera's settings on auto, and the results will be the same as if you had used the "manual" option. The autofocus is quick and precise. Every "deep" setting option is conveniently placed on the menu's simple structure. This camera boasts excellent optics. You might also use a film from the FA line. Pentax DA "stars" can be used, too. Find out what vignetting is and how to use it. The image has a vivid, evocative, "tube" atmosphere. This GPS component is lightning quick and pinpoint precise. If you're going to be categorizing photos, geodata will be a huge assistance. This camera has a well-designed, ergonomic handle that helps mitigate the substantial weight of the device. There are 2 slots available for SD cards. Parallel RAW and non-RAW recording is possible using separate memory cards.
Cons
  • Weight. Yet, only she. Possibly there are still technical constraints in turning the screen off. It's not even a camcorder, just a regular camera. Forget about shooting high-quality video, it's a waste of time. Inconspicuous lack of a built-in flash is par for the course for cameras at this price point. Not a touchscreen device.

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Finally, it's time to write something. Let me be bombarded by sony drives and others, but for me this is the best camera since the start of digital photography. Colors, stabilization, grip and menu logic are just on top. And the most important thing is the price. Only the medium format is better, but it is four times more expensive and you won’t take it with you just like that. We were really looking forward to the release of a new fifty-kopeck lens, now we are saving up for it

Pros
  • Price, a wide selection of lenses on the secondary market with a K mount
Cons
  • Purposefully went to the purchase, was not disappointed.
