Not as shown. The ones we received have a black rubber grommet on top. Water flows everywhere! I would like to buy the one in the photo.

The filter I received has a wide black gasket at the top and bottom which is different than the one in the photo. I've tried this before (with black spacer) and it doesn't work for me. I'm sure the quality is ok but I had to return it as the listing doesn't match the actual product.

The advert says it fits most "big blue" water filter housings and it fits mine. This is the same micron filter as the filters my water treatment company installed (until they lost all help and stopped scheduling appointments due to the pandemic). However, when you first take the filter and attach it to the filter housing, you'll swear it's an inch longer. However, it fits into the case's screw cap, which makes all the difference. Look for a label that says "10" on the blue case. These will fit.

Our water comes from our lake. It can be clean or dirty, like fine dirt. I've tried many filters. Most last no longer than 1-2 weeks. This filter lasts a month, no kidding. It has double or more pleats and is of excellent quality. The folds give me long life - much more surface. Great price and value.👍👍👍👍👍

This is a good quality filter. We use it on our well as the first filter. The second filter is a Pentek 25/1 and the last is a 10 micron carbon filter. All of this goes into the pH neutralizer and finally into the UV sterilizer. We installed this whole system earlier this year because we drink a lot of water and live in a well. UPDATE November 20, 2018: I removed this filter on November 7, 2018 11 July 2016) THIS IS AN EXCELLENT FILTER! Turns out I had removed this filter for no good reason, our kitchen faucet was running slow and I just assumed the filter was clogged. nope! Replaced the filter and the faucet is still slow. I turn on the faucet and there is garbage. (Of course, now the question is where did the garbage come from since the filter was still intact.) Anyway, I'm going to buy these Pentair filters now…
