Perfect 36110 Gelcoat Cutting Fluid_Ounces Review

For the last two winters I have been working on polishing and polishing my boat with other products. Finally I decided to try 3M products. They worked better and faster than anything I've tried in the past. My boat looks great and I would happily buy these products again. Don't waste time saving money by buying inferior products.

I cut this product 50/50 with (liquid) carnauba wax and used a 6 inch double action buffer with a pad rated for very low aggressiveness. He has lightened the colored gelcoat on the boat to make it look like new. My boat has been in salt water for over 4 years and is heavily oxidized. This product was perfect for bringing back the original shine. Completely delighted with the result.

We live on a boat so we bought this product on the recommendation of a gelcoat pro who swore by it. There were several abrasions of varying depth and length that I needed to get rid of. The product is all in one, so apply mainly to the affected area, a little is enough, use a little elbow grease, then let it work for a short time and then polish to a high gloss with a clean cloth. I put off polishing the gelcoat on my aging boat because I heard it was a tedious job. Used to remove LIGHT scratches on my black boat and black truck. Very good job on the truck. I cleaned up some scratches from my wife's nails on the door. Had to do this twice on the boat, the scratches were deeper than I thought, probably should have used a boat cleaner. It is designed to be cut and then broken down into a polishing paste.
