There are NO MARKS on the presser foot to show where the center is. When using such a foot, you need to know exactly where to place the needle. Without the center marker (usually the red dot) you have no idea. The same money is yours.

I have a Singer Stylist 518 (I think the 70's Singer your mom/grandma had). That does not fit. The pin on the assembly foot is too narrow to snap into the shank of the foot. So it just falls out. Money given away for 2 of them :-/

Really good leg. It arrived quickly and fitted my car perfectly. My disappointment is the lack of markings on the foot. I'm not sure what to align the fabric with to know where my sewing line will be. I bought this to sew a quilt to attach fabric in my machine applique. It was difficult to pinpoint exactly where the seams would be, so I used a different foot.

Not for Kenmore. After a short use I found that it was too close to the needle and the needle broke. I have no problem with the feet that come with the machine which I have been using for 12 years now. It was obvious that the hole wasn't big enough for the Kenmore needle. Also, it doesn't fit right. You won't hear a "click" when it snaps into place like the original leg. There are no refunds as the return shipping cost is equal to the cost of the foot itself. Looking for another peep toe foot…
