This tape measure is easy to read. This is great for crafters who need to measure as the fractions are marked. The quality is good for the price. It makes measuring easier for me because I can see it at a glance without having to guess if I'm right. Happy with the purchase

The fraction shouldn't be, but it's not exact. There is an extra amount of clean skin underneath the metal end, which is why all measurements are wrong. So I had to remove the metal tip, cut the ribbon along the correct line, and then leave the metal end to get the exact measurements. Another option is to always start at the 1 inch mark and remember to subtract 1 inch with each measurement.

I was disappointed with this tape - the tape is very narrow - just over 1/2 inch wide - not even a 5 /claims 8 inches, the thin band seems to stretch over time, and the "black" print is grayer black and smaller, so I wasn't expecting that. If I had known it was so narrow and thin I would not have ordered it. Certainly not worth the price, but it's the right strap for a travel sewing kit, just not at the price.
