AV accessories rip off

I ordered a 100ft spool of this cable. This seems to be of good enough quality, but the problem is that there was only a little over 50 feet of wire on the spool. Now I was left with an unfinished installation project because the cable was only half as short as it should have been. Pooh! I'm usually very happy with my Revain purchases, but this is ridiculously bad.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Not sure

Works as advertised.

I used this 16/2 gauge cable with my Rockfish wireless transceiver for my surround back speakers. The wire is pure copper (not copper-aluminum clad), oxygen-free and twisted for better speaker performance. One wire has a red line and the other wire has black letters with wire information so you can make sure your speakers and receiver are connected red to red and black to black. I recommend this wire.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Good line, easy to use

When I buy a product, I like to read negative reviews to see what happens. I saw that there were some on this product but I decided to purchase anyway. That's a good line. Actually much better than what I originally used. (I bought 16 gauge wire to be exact). It's nice and flexible, the insulation is well formed. This is exactly what you would expect from a copper wire. I recommend this wire. If I need more I will order this.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Quality Speaker Wire

This is what a quality/high performance 16 gauge speaker wire should (and should) be. no Also the fact that traditional stripping tools won't work with this junk. This wire is the real deal. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Pros
  • Consistent Test Results
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Great speaker cable!

Great wire. I connected a small 5.1 system for my nephew. The red bar is very useful for separating + and - and keeping track of your connections. After everything was connected and configured, the system started immediately. Small system but sounds amazing in its small space. Definitely one of those important components that some people tend to forget or overlook when building their sound systems, IMHO. This was the best result I could find in a reasonable amount of time.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Tradeable

Very important! Worthy of my Klipsch Cornwalls!

Great speaker cable for the price! A few years ago I would have laughed if you told me that you could tell the difference in sound quality between speaker cables. Now I find it pretty obvious. Previously I used cheap 16 gauge speaker wire from Walmart. I replaced it with this one and the difference in sound quality is very apparent. This speaker cable is clearly better. Without going into too much detail, everything just sounds better. I use it with Klipsch Cornwall speakers. I will buy itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not bad

Great wire at a great price, delivered quickly.

These are about 4 or 5 100 foot spools of this 16 gauge speaker wire. I've been an audiophile for decades and have used many brands and types of headphones. For my vintage collection of speakers and receivers, this is my wire. Now, some snobbish elite know-it-alls would say it's 16 gauge, not high-end. To this I would say you go straight and spend $100 a foot on speaker wire and then tell me you can hear the difference down south. Okay, idiot, whatever makes you feel better. It's great for meโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • weak

MaxBrite makes excellent pure copper speaker wire

Excellent quality 16 gauge pure copper speaker wire; flexible enough for easy installation in the car. Gauge 16 is a suitable gauge given the run length in a typical automobile. Using pure copper (OFC) instead of copper clad aluminum (CCA) makes a bigger difference than using 14 gauge for this application. Good sound quality. Mainly for home use. For longer runs I would definitely go for a 14 or even a 12 if using a powerful amp or receiver. jambs of front doors; now my front speakers areโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons

Outstanding performance and ease of use.

These speaker cables seem to work great (I used AWG 16). I used them to connect cheap Polk Audio speakers (T Series) to an entry-level Pioneer AV receiver (VSX-LX103 Elite). I've never done anything like this before, and in my experience it's very easy to strip wires with a cheap (but pretty good) wire stripper from a hardware store. I've also found that the cable twists very easily before it is inserted into the banana jacks for plugging into the back of an AV receiver, or for plugging intoโ€ฆ
