Probably my fault for being a beginner. But I didn't expect the pointed end to go like this. It only protects against cuts. Not prickly. giggle

I've never sucked on oysters and I had my doubts. The package arrived and I shelled two dozen oysters! I only put my finger in the glove once so the cut wasn't that bad!

I found it easier to open oysters with an oyster sheller than with two sets that I bought elsewhere. The gloves are great, although it would be even better if they were a size up.

Great quality at an affordable price. Much better for oysters than the wine bottle opener I used. This will help my new addiction: raw local kumamoto on ice! With ice cold local ale.

Oyster knife conforms to the description. It is high quality SS and durable. Having two knives in the set is a plus and the glove fits well. It works well with smaller oysters, which I prefer for half-shell presentations. That would be too short for large oysters.

The knives were fine and worked very well. Strangely, the gloves are not waterproof, leaving your hands completely wet and cold if you go outside in a meeting, for example. I ended up throwing away the gloves because it's so uncomfortable.
