Not bad pliers, not great, but worth every penny to me.

It's just 'ok' not 'excellent' not the highest quality but for the price they are definitely a worthy product. The closing accuracy of the jaws isn't bad, meaning you can grip a piece of paper tightly, which is better than many (regular) needle nose pliers I've seen in various stores. "bad” or "terrible” pliers, which surprised me a bit, ie I thought that I might have to return them, but I took a risk and bought them due to the low price. I am satisfied with them because they meet my needs.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Mostly scrap except very light

The heads are very loose on the pins and twist when the ring is actually compressed. This will either make them jump out of the ring or just out of the tongs. The twisting (I suspect) makes it extremely difficult to get the pin holding them in and out, making changing heads impossible (I had to use a vise to get it out). Even if you manage to bite off the ring, the pins don't tilt at all. So if you squeeze the inner ring while trying to pull it out of the socket, the pins of the pliers will pop

Pros
  • Solid finish
Cons
  • Was damaged

Now imagine that there is another box next to it that contains tools that aren't considered good enough to be worth $1 for anything. Imagine this box has a sign that says We'll pay you a dollar if you take this instrument. That's where you would look for that POS excuse for a tool. What's wrong with him? 1. The pens are not even close to spec. I spent an hour filing and sanding them.2. After the…
