works well with a decent compressor, see review

Ideal for home/hobby use. Used it to strip the old powder coating off the iron chairs and to remove the black anodized finish from the AR15 parts in preparation for the Cerakote. For this blaster to work effectively, you need a supercharger of at least 2.5 hp. I also recommend cutting the rubber hose in half to get more material flow to the gun, which means you have to be closer to the object you're blasting, but works well overall.

Pros
  • IDEAL USE: in combination with an air compressor to remove rust, paint, graffiti, corrosion and deposits
Cons
  • something else

Don't buy this, rent a real sandblaster

Don't waste your money on this. It was awful trying to use it. First it has to be hung high so that it is powered by gravity and everything sticks to it. Whatever we used, I had to constantly shake the sand in the bunker. The gun is constantly clogged. Worst gear we have ever tried to use. We have a big air compressor and we had to crank it up to make it do anything. I wish we had just done it by hand, it couldn't have been worse.

Pros
  • GRAVITY FEED: ensures a constant flow of sandblasting material
Cons
  • old

When I took it out of what was left of the box, I noticed a hole in the funnel, not a big one, but the medium is still running low. I wanted to find another box and send it back, but I wanted to try it first. It really surprised me that it would serve my purpose well. You really need to shake things up when you stop watching media. It's not designed for big jobs, so if you have a big…
