Works well, started to wobble after prolonged heat

Works very well for small soldering jobs, heats up quickly. (more than 2 minutes). Not sure why as I did not open the product to assemble myself.

Pros
  • Iron
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Dangerous at any temperature

Designed to fail. A tiny drop of solder will no longer hold the negative side of the element after a few uses. The wires aren't big enough for power or heat. If you fix the crappy soldering situation, you'll have to deal with a switch that can't power the 600mΞ© element. This is crap and the person who designed it must feel terrible.

Pros
  • Soldering iron and soldering iron
Cons
  • Can't remember

A piece of junk. Buy a Dremel.

The engraving tip falls out even when the set screw is tightened. Unfortunately I opened the package a day too late to send it back. Also, the plastic clamshell container was dirty and very dusty. It probably sat on a storage shelf for years. The set screw is off center making it difficult to tighten evenly. Save money. But a Dremel multi-tool and an engraving bit. Bad deal. And I'm late to do anything. I would like a working replacement for this junk!

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • Some errors
