Finally a screed gun that works.

I saw the guys at Roadkill Garage use one of these bad guys and thought I needed one too. So I foolishly bought the device from everyone's favorite discount tool store. Big mistake. Part number noted at Roadkill Garage and ordered from Amazon. Works every time, great build quality and damn useful. No complaints yet. Required tool.

Pros
  • Zip tie
Cons
  • Lightly dented

This thing is so finicky

I was struggling to get this thing to work. I've found that if I use it "upside down" so to speak, I'm more likely to grab the zip tie. I would have thought you could pull the tie down with the handles in your hand, but that would never work. If you flip the thing over so it grabs the other side of the tie, it works about 1/2 times faster. I came with no instructions and couldn't find an account number to call and ask if it was broken. Can't recommend and due to its wobbly behavior I will never

Works great: Cable management

I love being able to tie ties tightly and trim off loose ends. I had an inexpensive version of this tool from a major shipping company, but although it was a little tight on the bandages, the undercut was pointed or excessive and it wore out fairly quickly. When I received this instrument, I tried on some ties, neatly placed it in a drawer along with my tie stash, and played the nautical instrument intensely. I don't use this tool every day so I can't speak to its durability for a while, but…
