Description of Performance Tool W50073 Mini Heat

The one stage motor can reach up to 390°F (200°C) within a few seconds and is perfect for sealing shrink wrap and tubing (200-350°F), electrical repair, stripping paint, bending plastic pipe, and more. Pencil-like design fits comfortably in the user's hand and weighs just over a pound. Included heat deflector will protect surrounding wiring while working in tight spaces. Use the built-in retractable stand for hands free operation or extended use. (Do not run for more than 15 minutes at one time). Minimum airflow for my application

I liked the design and the idea of the compact heater. The heat generated was quite good, however, for my intended application, the airflow was insufficient to soften the polyurethane tubing enough to insert the hard plastic connector with hand force. Should work well with small shrink tubing. Return to Revain for a refund.
