Made cheap. The clamp broke immediately.

Good idea but very cheap clip. Broke after 10 minutes and I was sensitive. The manufacturer needs to put a higher quality clamp on the connector. Really slow delivery. I do not recommend.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Transparency

Works but don't expect the clip to last long

The clip broke on first use so be prepared with a set of connection cables. I don't think it was really unexpected. Otherwise it worked fine, I tested my 1998 Mustang for spark or no spark.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Replacement available

Not for Honda CR-V

The ceramic body is too large for my Honda CR-V spark plug wire to fit easily. I turned it on and ended up breaking the plastic tube that slides over the spark plug. Honda spark plugs appear to be a bit thinner than this tool.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Available in white only

This works really well if you have spark

Already used on lawnmowers, trucks to find ignition/no spark issues. I recommend it, good visible spark in daylight, and it presses lightly against the engine or a conductive part if it does.

Pros
  • Tested for a year
Cons
  • No instructions

Easy to use spark tester

No more sticking screwdrivers into wire connectors to check for sparks! This device is perfect for sockets and grounds for hands-free testing! Also works great when testing ignition coils. I have used it successfully and I highly recommend this product!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Faulty
