🔧 High-performance W80681 Socket for 17mm Drain Plugs on VW and Other German Vehicles Review

I really only need Subaru's 13mm square differential drain pipes. But they cost between 25 and 35 dollars for 1 piece. This set is durable and looks great.

I only needed one of the special sockets for my Subaru but it only cost a few dollars more than one socket so I got the whole kit instead.

Surprisingly I have a shop that was losing because I couldn't afford original tools. This inexpensive set is very practical and has helped me a lot

Could not find 11 & 13mm sockets in this kit. It is often recommended to use a 3/8" (9.5mm) or 1/2" (12.7mm) drive as the tool. Often this resulted in the drain plug being unscrewed. I prefer to switch my plugs to hex when they come out, but I can't always find a compatible hex plug. I've only used 11mm and 13mm square heads, but I'm sure others will come in handy in the future.

I've struggled with compound tools for a while and always found I had the 'right' tool that didn't quite excel in a particular application (drain plugs). After almost giving up on the diff fill plug, I decided to roll the dice and hope that the special plug fill tools were better than their traditional counterparts. The bet paid off!
