Description of πŸ”§ Enhance Engine Efficiency with Performance Tool W84009 NOX and SOOT Sensor Socket

Used to remove the 24 & 30mm NOX & SOOT Sensors on 2014 to current Dodge Diesels. Crow Foot design provided access to sensor W/O cutting wires and limited access applications. 1/2" Hex allows 1/2" breaker bars to be used for high break away torques required to remove sensors. 6 and 12 Pt SP Grip Drive contacts the sensor hex body. For Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Diesels and other manufactures using NOX and SOOT.

Good job, take the wrench.

Works well, check engine light does not come on. It took a night in a PB blaster to free her. Watch a YouTube video on how to switch.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about it, everything is fine

Works perfectly. for air conditioning

Works great as described. It took a little getting used to, especially in tight spaces, but once I figured it out, it worked great. Saved me from scratching and hitting everything around the O2 sensor and saved me from scratches and bruises!

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Nothing here

Worked - Replacement parts

Just what I needed to unhook the O2 sensor in a hard to reach spot. The upstream O2 sensor on my Ford Expedition is quite tight. I tried the O2 sensor socket on the ratchet and relocated the sensor plug but just couldn't get it in the right place. This little kid got in there and ripped out the sensor. It is finished!

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

doesn't look like a ratchet, you have to reattach it until the sensor comes out, penetrating oil also helps and in some cases a flashlight depending on how tight the sensor is, but as the tool has a crease in its grip it makes working in tight spaces easier, when reinstalling the sensor applying an anti-seize agent will help for future work . that worked for me

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • some problems
