Decent layout, sensor is worthless

I specifically asked Perixx support what the sensor resolution of this trackball would be. I was informed it was 400/1000 (DPI), which would be nice for both fast and fine movement speeds, I thought. After waiting a couple of months for this trackball to release, I ordered it and was immediately disappointed - no sensor resolution toggle. The movement is far too slow for modern use (1920 x 1080 pixel displays are at the least commonplace nowadays; that's about 4"+ to go across the display with…

Pros
  • My thumb no longer hurts, very comfortable!
Cons
  • The trackball is too small and requires frequent cleaning

Uncomfortable placement of buttons

I like how comfortable it was to use, however, I did not like how small the ball was and how the scroll wheel was directly below the ball.

Pros
  • Broke my hand and this really helped!
Cons
  • The detachable gel palm rest is uncomfortable and provides little support

Great Trackball! in my review

This trackball is great. The best part is the small trackball which reduces wrist and finger strain. I strongly recommend it. It is well-designed and ergonomic. Really good product. Made in Dusseldoft Germany, if you were wondering. I never heard of the place but apparently they make good periferals.

Pros
  • I can't make it work when you get my age stick with what you know
Cons
  • It’s great, except the scroll is in a place such that you have to remove your hand to get to it.

Not a well thought out design. Not durable.

This product initially was decent to use.IssuesThe buttons are far to difficult to use. Almost as if they are on the wrong side of the mouseThe track ball is not easy to cleanThe ergonomics of the device are all wrongI would suggest a vertical mouse rather than this

Pros
  • Computers & Accessories
Cons
  • The mouse is not compatible with Mac operating systems

Overall a solid trackball mouse.

So my review is for the wireless version. Unlike some reviewers here my experience has been good. I had it for about 2 months now. The ergonomics are quite good connectivity I had no problems with I do prefer larger trackball mouse but it's not bad at all. Some here say the trackball gets hard to move and that is easily fix by removing the trackball and cleaning it. Seams since it's a small trackball it collects dust easily. I would say it's a good small trackball but if you prefer larger…

Pros
  • Trackballs
Cons
  • The mouse clicks are loud and disruptive

Larger than expected

When I first received this device, right away I realized it was much larger than expected. But I did give it a try in my set up and used it for a period of time, before deciding it won't suit my needs. If you're considering this device, check the dimensions carefully so you know what to expect. In use, I found the track ball to be very responsive. It was quite easy to navigate the screen and required very little movement with, just the finger tips, to navigate the ball. The scroll wheel…

Pros
  • 9.5 ounces
Cons
  • The mouse is too heavy and causes hand fatigue

Feels Great and has a very smooth ball

Sadly I couldn't use it as I didn't know it was not for Mac, but just feeling the quality and compared to my 50 dollar adesso mouse I like this one more.

Pros
  • ERGONOMIC DESIGN - A 3-button wireless tracking device which can be control simply by moving 3 fingers for cursor control and screen navigation; Dimension: 3.94 x 6.61 x 1.18 inches (10 x 16.8 x 3 cm)
Cons
  • The mouse buttons are not customizable and cannot be programmed

Comfortable - my new review

Works great on my laptop in the truck. Don't have to worry about the ball falling out. Would recommend to anyone who used a laptop on the go!

Pros
  • TRACKBALL COMFORT - A durable 0.98 inch (25 mm) diameter trackball with optical tracking technology to provide precise cursor control; 800 DPI
Cons
  • The cursor moves too quickly and is difficult to control

Easy moving solid built trackball.

Solid built trackball with comfortable wrist support. Buttons and scroll ball are awkward to use. Buttons have square edge which is not always comfortable. Small ball rolls smoothly, takes more taps than required for larger trackballs.

Pros
  • Nice. Very usable, east to bring with me. Wrist pad snaps right off for tight spaces. I like it!
Cons
  • Where is the dongle? Supposed website not working

Broke in less than a month

When I first received it, I was excited because I was looking for a small trackball with an ergonomic approach. I took a few days to get used to it, and within a few weeks I was satisfied with it.Then, the trackball suddenly broke. It only moves horizontally and vertically now, moves like drawing a square every time I connect it. I'm very disappointed that it didn't last.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • The trackball is not responsive and requires excessive force to move

Kinda awkward. best in my review

I got this because I broke my wrist and needed something I could still use for basic PC work. Even though the wristpad detaches, the rollerball is hard to move & both buttons are on the wrong end of the controller in my opinion. I would like to be able to use a mouse trackball and press a button without having to move my hand down off the trackball onto the left/right buttons. Like I said, Kinda awkward.

Pros
  • SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS - Windows 7, 8, 10, and above; one free USB port; Package includes: 1 x PERIPRO-706 and manual
Cons
  • The wireless receiver is bulky and difficult to travel with

not bad for the only option that I could find

I got this mouse, not so much because it looked like a good option, but because it was the only one that I could find that fit both of my criteria of fitting in the space between my full-width keyboard and the edge of my keyboard tray, and being wired. This allowed me to arrange my gear in a much more practical way and not waste any batteries. It's not a bad mouse in my experience. It took some getting used to because I had never had a trackball mouse before, but after learning the skill to it…

Pros
  • Very eat to navigate and its comfortable does not cause discomfort in my wrist and fingers !!!
Cons
  • The wireless connection is unreliable and frequently drops

Worth buying two good for me

Fantastic Trackball. Love this. Durable, sturdy and functional. If you like trackballs, this is a very good deal. The mouse is not ergonomic and causes wrist pain after prolonged use.

Pros
  • SOFT GEL WRIST REST - Features cushion gel pad to place your wrist comfortably for long daily use
Cons
  • The mouse is not ergonomic and causes wrist pain after prolonged use
