The security screws are two tiny black screws in a long black channel that no one can see to insert a Phillips screwdriver into the screw heads. I managed to attach a security screw using tape to secure the screw head to the screwdriver. The tape held it in place so I could screw it in. Bought for a 40 inch LCD that could be hung in the garage. The included hardware is more than sufficient to mount the TV on the wall. You will need about an 18 inch screwdriver to get to the screws. Since I didn't have one, I essentially had to let the TV hang from the top rail without screwing it on. While it's still fairly secure (I'm probably the only one in my house strong enough to detach the TV), it's worth noting, especially if you prefer the lowest profile mount possible.
