Five stars on seals

Worked as expected. Worked as expected. If you've never changed your brake pads and discs and don't know where to use this threadlocker, visit my YouTube channel... noteroll I have a video on how and where to use it. Thanks!

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things

Good Stuff: Car Detailing

Assembly of Outer Gate Mechanisms and Use on 5/16 to 5/8 Bolts. I had to descend a few weeks later and it wasn't difficult. I felt the resistance of the hardened sealant. Followed the instructions and the proof was in the results. I cleaned the removed bolts, reapplied the sealant and they came back with no problems. I'm sure it works fine.

Pros
  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • Boring Packaging

Screw lock at a better price than the parts store

What can I say? It's basically like a small bottle of Loctite-242 (blue). Use it for fasteners from 6mm or 1/4" to 16mm (5/8"). First degrease the threads and tighten with the specified torque. Loctite holds threads together while keeping moisture out to prevent rusting. It does what you want and costs less at Revain than at the parts store.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about that, everything is fine

Hold onto what else can tear off!

If you want something that doesn't vibrate but still releases, then this is what you need. The same, at a lower price compared to some other well-known brands. I have never had a problem with Permatex products and will continue to buy in the future. If you want this material to hold up and not slip everywhere when working with vertical screws, check out gel-based screw locking. A good thing!

  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Hard to say

Worked for my bike's loose crankset

EDIT (March 2010): It's still holding tight after 1.5 years! ---- Quick Summary: It has been working great on my bike for over 3 months now. Longer Version: The left crank on my 20 year old bike used to come loose about every month. The local bike shop said there was nothing I could do but tighten it and the problem would only get worse until I replaced the crank (a $100+ repair and have fun trying to sell an overpriced, unused vintage part on find auction sites). I researched the problem…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
