I bought it for a costume rather than any play but it was certainly given enough and used by my friends for fun, what can I say over three weekends, it was used more than probably in a year. The handle is made of rubber with a rubber coating and a rubber tip. The handle is wrapped nylon and the valve is two pieces of leather held together with a strong nylon cord. The only thing I wished for was a bracelet so I could dangle it from my hand while I use my hands for other things. Other than that,
