Perfect replacement for my MerCruiser Thunderbolt IV distributor with a failed and obsolete ignition module. I bought a matching coil and an hour later I changed everything and started the boat. However, you must replace the cable connectors on the distributor.

Would make a great distributor replacement but setting the time curve with the parts provided seems a little rigged although it works. You also need to know the correct ignition timing for your engine to avoid engine damage from knocking. I was fine knowing the specs for my application, but it might not be for everyone. Make sure you have all the information about the engine you are installing this manifold on.

An excellent replacement for the outdated and dead ignition for my Mercruzer if all the parts were included. I need to block the timing and the bushings were not included in the replacement parts. The first one I got had a broken distributor cap right out of the box. The lid is made of very brittle hard plastic. Looks like very cheap plastic. Revain sent a new one and it looked fine, but there was a rectangular nick on the inside and outside of the side of the distributor cap. I'm not sure if it's a defect in the Chinese manufacturing process. I installed it with the flamethrower coil and the engine barely started.
