Not the best igniters

The third time I drove the car out it stopped working again. 67 firebird 400. Do your homework, then I'll drop Pertronix altogether.

Stop working after a month.

Very disappointed. Eventually I installed it in my HEI distributor as part of some minor updates. It stopped working and left me stuck after just a month of use. I installed the original coil that was in the car for several years. Just sent it back to PerTronix for evaluation and warranty. The insulation appears to have melted/cracked.

Nice upgrade to OEM

This product has only been used for about a month. You will find that the cables are about twice as thick as the original equipment, which should match the higher voltage and current ratings. Regarding installation, the included (4) screws are slightly shorter than the original screws, which allows stripping the threads on the cover, especially where the ground strap is.
