This is an adorable coat BUT I can't get it on my wavy pup. My daughter bought the same coat for one of her furry babies but it took two of them to put it on her. As this is a one-piece item, you need to retract both the front and back legs and THEN turn the baby over to open the clasp, which is not easy. I bought this for a family trip up north, so I tested it on my Chihuahua on a particularly cold and windy evening. It didn't take her time to get used to her legs, she ran, jumped and played. Needless to say, I think she loves it! Going to the potty was also easy for her. I was a little hesitant to buy it, but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. Harley is an 11 year old Pomeranian weighing 6 pounds. This was the best jacket for my 5 lb Yorkie to have fun in 2 feet of snow! It looks like a human jacket - it's too hot in the room so you have to take it off inside.
