Perfect temperature for an older cat and my cat loves her new bed. Keeps him warm and snuggly and now he has more momentum as his brittle bones are warmed up. This heated pet bed comes highly recommended.

Bought for my elderly cat who is getting thinner. 17 year old cat loved it. She lies there all day/night and no longer walks on me at night, but is so comfortable that she sleeps in her and not on me. 🤣 The bottom isn't insulated that well and gets very hot, so I put a cushion underneath to protect my leather sofa. I wish the cable was longer. With an extension cord, but I think it would be safer without.

This bed is very thick and warm and my cat took to it immediately. I was afraid it would be too small as she has a pretty average cat and he seemed small to me, but she seems to enjoy his coziness. She hasn't left it since I took it out of the box! Big big success. She's getting old and her hips hurt so I wanted something soft and warm. All boxes are marked with this product. Let me tell you about my 16 year old cat. He likes to lie right next to our battery and gets minor burns. He loves to stay warm. I've had him since he was a year old when I was 19. I'm 34 now. My senior cat is an indoor cat that I love but I can't be home all the time. I bought this bed because my cat has arthritis and I thought she would be comfortable with me out and take to it immediately. She circled and sniffed around him for about a month, although I put her there several times. Eventually she jumped in and now I have a hard time getting her out except at mealtimes. I originally bought this for my elderly cat but she refuses to use it. Luckily my younger cat loves it very much. It's a subtle warmth, but when she gets out of bed you can feel how hot it's actually getting on her body - surprisingly hot, but I'm not worried about burning herself or overheating. Our cats love this bed! This is definitely a very popular bed for our two cats. Sometimes one even annoys the other enough to come out so they can steal it and take it for themselves! It feels very comfortable and definitely stays warm without overheating. I was afraid they wouldn't realize it was heating up since it's not that obvious unless you put your hand on it for a few seconds, but once they put it in they knew right away. This bed is also very easy to clean. and reassemble if necessary.

K&H products are usually great. This one wasn't that good. Pros: The cover can be easily removed for easy cleaning. Cons: Very thin foam inside means no support for aging pets. The lower pad is thin enough that you can feel the hard ground underneath at the slightest touch, and the side bumper is tiny and thin too.
