Good addition. Reasonable price

Good price but expect sales. Mike likes her. eat it like a treat! Divide them into cat-sized pieces. Mike is 8 years old, has switched to Ginger at 16lbs and gets 1/2 tan divided between his 2 meals in 1-2 cups of Kinbla. Full tabs = throws it. Mike seems more balanced in energy and mood on taurine. Taurine is not found in most cat foods, so it is needed as a supplement, especially if the cat is indoors or in a serious condition. I recommend.

Kitties Love/Hate it

Been buying this for my cats for a long time. One of them loves it and eats it as a reward. The other (in typical cat guise) loved it until she realized I wanted her to eat it and then refused so I had to start giving her the pills. It's soft enough to be broken with your hands, you don't need to use a knife, pill cutter or anything. I usually break it into quarters and she swallows it. However, doing it this way leaves a lot of dust behind. Also some pills are always broken in the bottle. Not…

Good for heart health, can be given to dogs.

This supplement is suitable for both dogs and cats. We are currently using it for our small dogs after realizing the noise was affecting one of them. Supplemental taurine has been recommended by some veterinary cardiologists who submitted an investigation to the FDA into a possible link between legumes in dog foods that either block or do not contain the essential amino acids for taurine absorption. Our food supplier was buying mostly grain free products and we were unaware that this could be a

It really seems to help my cat!

My cat has physical disabilities. We recently learned that this is probably caused by myotonia congenita, a rare disorder of muscle closure. Conveniently, taurine is one of the few drugs being studied for its treatment (not in cats, but the disease occurs in multiple species and involves the same mutations), and of course taurine is very safe in cats (no documented toxicity). We started with her. on supplements (250 mg twice daily) and noticed an improvement in her movements throughout the day.

Highly recommended.

I throw most of my cat supplements in the trash after a single use. However, I believe PatAg Taurine simply saved my 15 year old cat's life. I believe he was taurine deficient as there is no cat food in his diet that contains taurine as a supplement. Since he regularly vomits the cat food I offer, I started feeding him cooked meat intended for human consumption. Taurine is destroyed during cooking. After taking a crushed taurine tablet for 3 days which he enjoys eating alone, he now shows an…

Peace of Mind for OTC Drugs

I give these pills to my 2 cats to prevent heart disease. I lost 2 cats to sudden heart attacks a few years ago and I never want to hear that howl again and find a cat lying on the kitchen floor in sheer distress knowing it will die soon. I give them half a pill. It will be taken out of my hands. The other cat won't, but will eat it if I spit it into its can. It gives me the certainty that I'm doing my best not to lose her. It should be noted that since the last purchase in May 2020, the price…

Taurine worked wonders

I adopted a 5 month old kitten from a shelter because nobody could take him in due to health issues. He dragged his hind legs behind him and could neither jump nor walk normally. The shelter reported that he had dilated cardiomyopathy and a grade 3 heart murmur, and her vet suspected he was taurine deficient and would need supplements that would *possibly* improve his heart condition. But there was no guarantee. I wanted to give him a happy, loving home and a chance at a long life so I…
