Reflective: Dogs

This is the best price for this type of collar. We live in the mountains, so there are no street or car lights, it's dark outside. We have a German Shepherd who disappears in the dark and this collar has helped me keep track of where he is after the sun goes down. It's not until I turn on the porch light that I see the collar in the distance. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • No Power

First measure best in collars

Product exactly as advertised and couldn't be better than a reflective device to protect my pet. It was meant to replace and upgrade a similar collar that had been in use for over 4 years but I ordered a size too big. Measure first to get the correct fit as it cannot be adjusted beyond the stated limits. Guilty! It's still a great product

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Does the job but uses cheap products

I bought this collar for my puppy but I haven't had a very good experience with it. There is no doubt about the reflective part. It can be very reflective, but that plastic clip is one of the cheapest things I've ever laid my hands on. Very thin plastic for the clip/buckle. Only took 2 walks. If you can replace it with a higher quality buckle then it's a good buy.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons

I recommend collars with metal clasps or buckles

Please note that the clasps on this collar are made of plastic. The only metal part is the D-ring where the tags attach. Our 40 lb dog was outside on a rope chewing on a bone when I heard a loud noise. I ran outside and pulled the end of the rope. The rope returned with a broken collar, but no dog. It was pitch dark outside and luckily she was wearing a life jacket so I could find her. She is a golden mix and not a muscular dog. It looks like the plastic buckle broke instantly in one movement…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Negative impression

Exactly what I was looking for. Better than LED collars.

This is exactly what I was looking for. My dog is off the leash most of the time and we cross crossings so it was very important for her to wear light or reflective vests and collars. Although we used an LED collar (bought from Amazon) for a while, the battery continued to drain and mostly dimmed after a week. It just wasn't that effective, so instead of using it I wanted something with more reflection when light hits it. That's great. I also bought a Petflect Reflective dog leash which I…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Speed
