I agree with everyone that this cat scratching post is really good. I mean watch the video. However, if your cat is just like mine and has huge claws (trust me, he's a bit picky about people trying to clip them) he won't last more than 4-5 months. it is less than 3 days old and one of the sides is already crumbling. And no, that's not the only scratching post our cat has. Also, I think $49 is too much for them. $35 or $39 would be a more reasonable price.

My review is more detailed than the star system allows. We have two young adult cats. Both love to hang out on it in the evening sun and both use it to scratch several times a day. So 5 stars for helpfulness, both love it. Our issue with this item is that it only lasted 90 days and I've had to pick up or clean up litter several times a day for the last 6 weeks.
