I liked these products at first. they fit and work well. I've only used them 5 times in a year and the straps snapped. They were rinsed after each use and hung in the garage to keep them from cracking. Both vests had the same problem, probably due to the material of the strap :( bad because they worked fine before. Used on small dogs. Scotty isn't rude, didn't see a way to contact the seller so I figured I should do post this as it should last over 5 uses.

We have a long, 50 pound deep golden doodle. We were between sizes and went with a smaller life jacket. The velcro is a bit tight but we tried 3 different jackets and this one fits the best. The only problem we have is that our dogs hair gets caught in the velcro quite often. Unfortunately, the sticky side of the Velcro is facing the fur. A pretty bad design flaw in my opinion, but shouldn't be a problem for the short haired breed.

For those who need a pet rescue buoy and need it to work 100% life and death... This may not be the best choice. Although it worked well during our use... It has problem areas and if you are concerned your pet could be exposed to water without being able to swim. I recommend buying a life jacket that has no aesthetic factor!
