Great product, suitable for wires and pegs

I use it with my husky who can pull. I would still recommend that as with any leash, pull dogs are supervised and not left alone, the leash may be strong but they can chop down the whole tree.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Zero

Very Good Quality for Dogs

Fits my 70 lb Pitty well and is the perfect length for what I need. Other 12ft cables I found were very light, this one is durable so I don't have to worry about it breaking. I have it on an overhead line so I didn't use a wood joint, but it also seems to be of very high quality and I wouldn't hesitate to use it if the need arose.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Wrinkled Pack

Finally a tie that makes sense

Definitely the best tie I've ever seen. 1) The sealing ring prevents the screed from wrapping around the wood. 2) The ends of the cable around the tree are simply screwed together, which I haven't seen anywhere else. much better than a hook or something that can be easily untied like so many others. 3) A strong 3/16" cable keeps my Schwarzenegger-Houdini-Husky hybrid from breaking the cable and moving freely like it used to with the 1/8" cable.

Pros
  • Arouses trust
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great investment - leashes and pegs

One of the BEST 'gadgets' I have ever bought for my dog. product concerned. I bit the bullet and bought it anyway, thinking it was probably a cheap piece of junk. IS NOT IT! VERY well made and does its job EXCELLENT! NOT tangled, very easy to set up. Big enough for a BIG DOG and last but not least. Large enough for almost any tree. If your tree is too big, it should be one of those giant California redwoods that are the size of the state park :). I would recommend this product to family…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

  • Is OK

Part around the tree comes off. but not broken yet

Mixed feelings about it. For a month, when we tried to tie another leash to a tree, our husky yanked at it. We've had it about a month now and it doesn't even show any signs of wear - except for a little rusting (or maybe just roughness due to loss of coating?) on the tab that attaches to the dog's collar. But the section around the tree does not remain securely closed. It's a screw system that seems to loosen every few days. I try to check and tighten it regularly, but we've already seen our…

Prevents dog from wrapping around a tree

Bought this after several trips outside to unwrap a dog harness from a tree. We have a 70 lb dog who loves running in circles around a tree outside. We have a large yard without a fence and were trying to find a solution to a dog wrapping a rope around a tree. In addition, we purchased a 40 foot leash to attach so the dog has more room to run and also so he can walk a few feet out the back door to tighten and let go of the leash during those cold Iowa winters . We used it with Boss Pet…

  • Great design

Very good timing

I have relatives I want to visit but have dogs of my own that don't like to visit them. This is by far the best way for me to tie my dog up during a visit without having to worry about my dog getting tangled up in a tie or getting into a fight with his dogs. The product consists of two simple parts; The first part is simply a loop of rigid cable spliced end to end with a screw connector to form a loop around a tree or similar object, the second part is a piece of cable that acts as a tether at…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
