🚪 Indigo Door by Doskocil Review

Received this product for an extra large dog pet igloo and was disappointed , found that the dimensions did not correspond to those declared. The widest part of the plastic measured 15 inches and the length was 13.5. There was a gap of about an inch on each side and about 3 inches on the bottom.

First, it's a bit small. Worst of all, it's almost impossible to fit nuts onto small bolts. You will need to use needle nose pliers to hold the nut and tighten the bolt on it. What should take less than a minute turns into a big headache! Whoever designed this should have it installed! For those of you complaining about the lack of hardware, just look for it before throwing away the packaging. It is there!

The holes were in an odd place, very difficult to insert a small nut and washer. The fingers were too big so I had to hold the nut with pliers and try to discreetly slide the bolt into the nut. The holes were also not cut to match the holes in the rubber door. Very frustrating. Once turned on it seems to keep cold and rain in well for my pot belly pig and his hay.

I bought an XL door for XL Indigo. It arrived quickly and appears to be made of a thick, durable, mostly transparent material. Strangely the holes for attaching it to the house didn't match up and I had to redrill one to install it. My biggest complaint: The door didn't come with screws or anything. My dog ripped the door off in a minute and chewed it to bits for the rest of the day.
