Heavy Duty Large Cat Carrier

This is a great carrier for a large cat. My cat is 19 pounds, 20 inches long and 14 inches tall. It's a durable plastic that's easy to assemble. It comes with screws to hold the two pieces together and locks on the side and back. I don't know what it would be like to travel by plane. I bought it to take my cat to the vet. I recommend this for heavier larger animals.

Everything is OK. Not as good as my old doglu.

Fairly good. The price is overpriced for what you get. Revain Basics was too cheap to trust. It's stronger, but not stronger. Dogloo is a much better product because it's durable, has a door that opens to both sides, the door opens wider and stays open. This door happily closes all the way until you get the cat, which is very stupid. There were also hooks for seat belts. I wish I could find one of them.

Perfect for my crazy boy!

My 8 month old Dauchsund/Yorki mix usually sleeps downstairs in the kennel at night because he barks easily at noise and wakes up too early for all of us in the house. In our kennel we had for him before, he had to crouch to get in and was unable to sit up, leading me to believe that this was partly contributing to his stomach rash as he tends to sweat. I'm 10-20lbs because even though he's only 6lbs he's VERY long lol. This nursery is perfect for him. It's enough to get him up and spreading…

Incomprehensibly sloppy

How far pet carriers have fallen and this one is no exception The top handle, made from the same injection molded plastic, seems minimally secure, plastic clips are used to attach the bottom to the top, and plastic "nuts" are used to attach the 4 extra screws. Was it made by a pet supply company or a plastic manufacturer with a low market price? Time will tell actual performance and durability but I'm not feeling very confident. Also, the price, cheap as it was made, was just unreasonable. Very

Returned - Not So Ruff

Bought to replace a crate from the same manufacturer and turns out to be the same model taped together after years of use and abuse. The cage belongs to a cheeky little terrier who loves to sit in it and "watch" the landing. The previous cage was made of thick, durable plastic that kept the small dog stable even when glued together. But that didn't hold the door in place anymore. However, this version was made of much thinner plastic and was easy to bend with a little pressure. It wasn't the…

"24 " 10-20LBS " is misleading.

"24" 10-20LBS" is misleading. This kennel is MUCH small for my 15 lb 8 week old pup. I ordered it according to the weight guidelines and it almost gave me a huge headache at the airport. this. I was refused delivery. Luckily the mist was bent over it and his head was 0.5 inches from the top when standing normally. The second is the same size as I ordered, I just sent it back. There's no point risking a second time. in evaluating this box. The build quality was good. He fit, like many other…

Cheaply made, easy to carry and travel

So I bought this to transport my hefty 20 lb senior cat to and from the vet. We have a smaller stretcher but now that my boy has arthritis I need a stretcher that will make it easier for him to move around. This is a very large and very spacious carrier so I like it. However, after assembling the holder, I noticed how flimsy the plastic is for the clips that hold it together. If you don't make sure they're really tight, the media will come loose. It happened when my husband was about to carry…

It is what it is - thin

I needed 2 cat carriers for vet visits, hurricane evacuation and travel. My cats are about 14# each. I've researched and read reviews of cheaper $20 media and found that they probably aren't strong enough. So I thought this one would be better, the reviews about it were good. $40 seemed reasonable for a good big cat carrier, so I bought 2. Here are the pros and cons of this carrier: Cons: Weak plastic - seriously? The cat is ONLY in with the latches closed. Not even to move it around the house,

I would take a stronger case of the same size

Conclusion: I would take a stronger case of the same size if I had to buy another one. Until we get to the vet, it's a risk. If you just carry them from home to the car and then from the car to the veterinary office, that should do the trick. so I'm worried that this case might not be as durable as we need it to be. The screws didn't go in the holes that were drilled in at the time of manufacture so I couldn't get them all in and some required a lot of effort. Traveling The sticker that came…
