I tried one of these and the glove broke where the brush attaches and that made for a pretty easy clean up. The brush pad is also attached too far down the finger so it doesn't really sit on top of the finger pad - it's very difficult to control where you brush and impossible to get all the way to the back of the dog's mouth. .

My dog still hates it. lol I've tried everything and this is the easiest way to brush your teeth. I like full gloves because they keep my hands from getting dirty and slobbering. I wish they were different sizes. I have very slim arms so they are big for me but still decent. I could see someone with big hands struggling. The hub arms, which are thicker than mine but the same length, fit perfectly.

I can't really recommend it for cats because a cat's natural instinct is to move its mouth up and down. At least that's what my cat did, putting you at risk of being (accidentally) bitten. Also, the glove needs to be fairly snug to keep the "brushing" part from slipping. My hands are pretty small so the "brushes" part didn't stay in place making it difficult to get the brushes onto my teeth. I will look for brushes with rubber fingers.

These gloves go in very easily and clean the cat's teeth - I can feel where I'm brushing which helps a lot. I just wish they were cheaper. I paid a little over a dollar for a glove. They appear to be reusable, but the one I used already has a hole in it (not surprising since I put it in my cat's mouth) so I don't know how much use I'll get from each glove. However, of the brushes I have tried, these have been the best in terms of effectiveness and my cat tolerated the brushing well.

This works better than a toothbrush because you can be gentler on the kitten and control the pressure. I would recommend that you do this slowly when brushing your cat's teeth for the first time. My cat got scared and scratched me very hard trying to jump out of my hands. Don't be too ambitious and try to extract the back molars the first time, like I did. Ineffective to use as gloves. But I cut off 2 bristle fingers right where they meet the glove and use them as finger brushes. This works very well for my small dogs as it gives me great tactile sensations and they are more comfortable with that less intrusion into their cheeks. These gloves are the best idea since the toothbrush! LAUGH OUT LOUD. The addition of built-in bristles on opposite fingers really helps you "feel" what you're doing and really cleans your pup's teeth. The big plus is that your hands stay dry and free of toothpaste. These gloves work great! I use them to brush my kitten's teeth and he is about 4 months old. I started brushing his teeth when I read online that Maine Coons are prone to gingivitis/periodontitis.
