This dog flap is the best. With a metal frame construction and easy installation, this product is a sure bet. It was the best size for my old mini dachshunds and chihuahuas. Just make sure you have a circular saw or jigsaw to cut through the door. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is that it comes with plastic door mounting screws and let's just say they don't hold up very well to installation. Come on, doors can get stiff in the COLD, to the point where they'll crack and even break at the top (below 0 degrees Fahrenheit). I feel this door is overpriced for the quality of its construction. For that amount of money they shouldn't give you plastic screws to hold the dog door together. I have a St. Bernard and a Boxer that use this door. Disadvantages: 1. Plastic screws for fastening the door frame.
