Great for training and keeping your pet safe!

I love these flags! I have trained my lovely 3 year old purebred labrador and best friend with them. I moved to an area where there were few houses, and across from my house was a small piece of land that fell away like a cliff. I didn't want my dog walking around in there and falling off so I used them with Petsafe's wireless unit. It only lasted about a week and he passed the barrier once and he was fully trained. Unfortunately my best friend passed away a few months ago. I went to an animal…

Great for indoors, terrible for outdoors

I moved my invisible fence and needed flags to mark the new location. I bought these flags because I thought there was not much difference between these flags and the Invisible Fence flags. As others have pointed out, I made a mistake too. These flags are VERY small. They are made of plastic, including the stem. To plant them even in soft soil, I had to drive them into the ground with a ground rod (the kind that gets attached to wire in gardens) and then toss the PetSafe flags into the holes…

My puppy looks at these flags

Flags look great when used with wireless collar systems. She walked with me as I folded all the flags, collar in hand. When I was done I put a collar on her, put her on a leash and we walked around the perimeter. It only lasted one day and a reminder on day two that she would hear beeps and then go into shock when she got to the flags. I once walked her with just a leash (no collar) and when we got to the white flags in the driveway she just stopped and wouldn't go any further (very unusual for

  • The list will be long.

I needed an extra receiver and had an older system so I asked for a local invisible picker (btw it was it great - local company). I got 100 flags from him but it turned out I needed more so I ordered from Revane, assuming they would be the same. Border flags are border flags, right? NOT RIGHT. It's about 10 inches long. Basically half the height and half the size of anything I've ever used. Once placed in the ground, they'll likely be about 8 inches off the ground, so if you're training a…

Dog Flags OK

If this product were copper instead of plastic flags they would be much better placed for your dog to see where you put the fence, although now after all the hard work I've discovered fences My own hands are cheaper for a reason. They shock your pet at very limited settings, doing your pet more harm than good. They set high settings for small or medium-sized dogs. The dogs jumped over the hills when I set them up and tried to train them. As a dog owner, that was too cruel for me and I had to…

Buy metal survey poles instead.

While they are working, the hoses are plastic. They must have a soft bottom to push them in and they fall off easily. They break when bent. Old ones with metal bars can be "thrown" into the ground, saving you from bending over. Also, because they're plastic, they're lightweight and will pull into your lawn mower fairly easily if you encounter them up close. They do the job, but metal ones are lighter and more durable.**** In fact, if you go to the hardware store now, instead of asking for metal

Good. but wish the poles were metal

When we first installed our electric fence we went to Lowe to look for these flags and only found orange construction/agriculture flags with thin metal wire for the pole. They worked fantastic! Yes, our yard with the orange flags looked weird, but it worked. When we got our new pup we decided to try him out for a more visually appealing look. They work great but the stands are plastic. I installed them in the summer after a whole week without rain. It wasn't fun. I couldn't place them exactly…
