Possibly as padding for recovery collars and cones

Well, I give up! I will not be buying any more of these alternatives to the horrible torture cone. I've tried them all (except inflatables). This product will NOT prevent a cat or dog from getting wounded. If the wound is in the lower body, you're pretty much drowned. Very frustrating. If I take the cone off, I'll never put it back on. If you can, bandage the wound and remove the creepy lump for eating, grooming, etc. so they have some relief. POOH. 10 days and we have the fifth day.

The best solution to restrict access to the buttocks

Very simple: we had to restrict Max's access to his buttocks. The usual "cone of shame" made Max unhappy because, due to the required size, he could no longer eat or drink by himself. I ordered several different options and this one worked the best as the outer circumference is larger than most similar e-collars. Max drilled holes in two inflatable boats within 24 and 48 hours of dressing. This soft, pillow-like structure prevents him from reaching his buttocks, but still allows him to eat and…

The soft cushion allows you to relax while healing.

Our cat has never worn a cone so we didn't expect it to be an easy process. The "pillow" cone is really soft and we liked the idea that even if she doesn't like it, at least she doesn't get hurt fighting with it. She was able to remove it the first two times - she hooked it with her front claws and pulled her head out. Maybe we synced too loosely on her neck. But the lace is elastic so we can see that it doesn't smother her. This is her on day 2. She pouted a little, but she's already figured…

Kitty Rejoices - Recovery Collars & Cones

One of our cats has a skin condition on her stomach that she can't let alone. As well as working with the vet, we have used a cone, rescue suit, rescue collar from another brand and this one. This product is the best. First, both the cone and another brand's recovery collar were short enough for our cat to bend down to reach the lower abdomen. The survival suit hid her well, but she acted paralyzed and I knew she wouldn't be happy in the long run. The larger version of this rescue collar is…

It worked really well for my petite girl

My little girl weighs no more than 8 pounds. Finding a good e-collar for her was a challenge! However, it fit the bill. She could drink water, lie comfortably, and still not reach the incision. Her surgery consisted of removing the spleen with a mass (if it would help at the incision site). I tried another, inflatable one, supposedly for her neck, but it was too big and bulky and kept moving. I love that it doesn't have a clasp that could cause her forefoot to slip off and get stuck (like the…
