Best purchase we have made for our 11 year old lab

We have an 11 year old yellow lab who has a serious rear leg sprain. We live in our RV with 5 levels. We had to lift it back and forth. I chose PetStep because it had good reviews. Daisy started PetStep on day one. I like the ribbed surface. It can go up and down easily even on rainy days. It also helps her to get into our jeep. It's easy to place on stairs. Instead of using the included spring to keep it closed we went to the store and bought a velcro which works much better. I am very…

When I couldn't find a sturdy ladder of the right size

My 50 lb dog's short legs always made it difficult to jump in and out of the car, and now that he's older , with a bloated stomach Due to Cushing's disease, he can no longer make it on his own. When I couldn't find a solid ladder of the right size, I looked for ramps and settled on these based on positive reviews and a video posted by another reviewer. I used the roast beef as a stimulating treat and walked him around and up the ramp while lying on the floor before heading to the car and it…

I have an old dog that was having problems.

I have an old dog that has difficulty climbing the three steps on the back deck. For the past two weeks I have had to carry her up and down stairs (a 40 lb dog). Got this ramp today and put it on the steps. It covers about half the width of the steps so I still have room to walk up and down the deck by myself without touching the ramp. I walked the dog up the ramp twice on the leash and then took him off the leash. When she wanted to be picked up and carried up the steps, I let her know by…

Best ramp available

This was the second pet ramp I have ordered. I had to return the first one (SolveIt brand) because it was complete junk for the same price. All other ramps except this one were sandpaper which cut into my dogs paws and gave them no grip to climb. Smarter designed, the PetSTEP is made of rubber with horizontal ribs that allow your dog to climb easily and not slide. It also has protection on the sides and offers a good width. My dog, who has just had knee surgery, was having trouble climbing into

great for large dogs

I have a 125 lb bloodhound. He had trouble getting through the side door. I looked at many ramps and each had different problems. It's made of heavy plastic, so your pet can walk without sandpaper or mat, and it's easy to clean and wash up. Folds up nicely, just watch your fingers when you close it. It fits snugly in the rear bumper of my jeep without restriction. When I first received it. I put him on my back steps so he could get used to walking on them. trained for a week. Then put it on my…

Best dog ramp I've found

I bought this ramp two months ago after my second aluminum extension ramp broke in two years (see my review of this ramp). I rescue, adopt and rehab large breed dogs so that ramp in my house gets some serious daily exercise. My dogs weigh between 100 and 200 pounds. I am very happy with this ramp so far. The surface is a unique rubbery compound that's the lightest on dog paws I've seen yet offers excellent traction. The ramp itself as well as the hinges are extremely durable, well thought out…

Miracle Ramp! fits safety ramps

This is the first review I have ever written and I felt it was absolutely necessary to let people know how amazing this product is. Our 13 year old Chihuahua could no longer walk up the stairs and had to sleep on the floor instead of in our bed while we went to work. We thought we'd try it out of desperation. She has often woken us up several times during the night to get out of bed and now after practicing for about 20 minutes with some treats she now walks up the ramp herself in the middle of

Highly recommend this ramp for large dogs

We have 2 old 75 lb labs with hip and disc issues and travel a lot. This ramp has been a lifesaver for me. We bought this in 2017 and it still works even after leaving it outside on the porch for our older dog. When we travel, we use it on the side tailgate of my SUV, place it just under the seat, and they fit right into the car. They never slipped and had no traction issues. When we first got it, I worked out for a few hours two days in a row with lots of cheese to motivate myself. First I…

Incredible ramp for dogs!

We were teaching our lab dog to swim and needed a ramp to get him out of the pool. We built a wooden ramp which was fine but we had trouble fastening it to keep it stable. THIS RAMP IS AWESOME! As directed in the instructions, we first put him on the floor and used a treat to get the pup to lie on him. After she comfortably walked it back and forth for 5 minutes, we put it in the pool and she immediately walked up like she's been using it for years! It doesn't float in water, which is very…
