Description of PETZL Airline Throw Line 60 M

Combines flexibility for a precise throw and stiffness for avoiding knot formation as it comes out of the bag. Yellow for excellent visibility.

Personal favourite. fits rope

I cut mine in 2. I don't know why I'm looking back. Spring. I have two Petzl bags. In any case, the line is strong and hard. I will be buying a second roll to get the full length for use with a slingshot.

Pros
  • best
Cons
  • safety

I wrote to the company myself to express how crappy this line really is, it's too small so she gets all tangled up . PETZL makes really good climbing and tree climbing gear, but stay away from making slings. Your PETZL Airline Throwline is the worst line I have ever used and the reason for saying so is that no matter how you split it, throw it, shoot it, etc. it gets tangled and wastes your time trying to untangle it. always a waste of time and money.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • flimsy

Very good abrasion resistant no stretch strong durable line

Absolutely superb product. I've swum, hiked, camped, fished, etc. so I'm familiar with a variety of twine, rope, and rope. This line is just a great product: very durable looks (Spectra/Dynema is quite inelastic material and very abrasion resistant) but unlike other Spectra I've seen on kites/parasails, kayaks etc, this one has a pretty strong line , which makes the cord anything but thin. In fact, you can hold it upright for a few inches before it falls over under its own weight. It feels…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • The list will be long.
