Description of Peugeot Paris USelect Lacquer Pepper Kitchen & Dining for Kitchen Utensils & Gadgets

Two-stage pepper mechanism - first cracks then grinds peppercorns - ensures the most flavor and aroma is released from the pepper. Salt mill mechanism constructed of case-hardened steel - virtually indestructable. Mechanism fully adjustable, producing grinds ranging from very coarse to powdery. Mill body made of beechwood; made in France. Hand wipe with soft cloth; Set is for a black laquer pepper mill and white lacquer salt mill.

Not Worth the Investment

Based on our own experience, this product is highly overrated. While it may look stunning on your kitchen counter, it fails to deliver on its promises. The adjustable mechanism barely functions and the pepper comes out in clumps. While the price tag may be steep, the quality does not justify the investment..

Pros
  • Attractive design
Cons
  • Poor adjustable mechanism

Sleek and stylish pepper grinder

As a result of using this product I found that it grinds the pepper evenly with ease. The lacquer finish gives it a polished look, making it a great addition to my Home and Kitchen décor. However, the price may be a bit steep for some hesitant buyers..

Pros
  • even grind, stylish design
Cons
  • high price point

Terrible product, inside and out.

Salt is first ground very finely and then not at all. Pepper is just a little bit better. The main problem was that the red "varnish" wasn't that one, but some kind of plastic junk that spread out in big webs. Bought to replace Peugeots that were painted red and worn out after over a decade of use. Like many things these days, what was once a good product is now junk. We sent them back after a few days of salt and pepper horror.

Pros
  • Salt and pepper mill sets
Cons
  • Out of fashion
