Description of 🧡 Peugeot Tahiti DUO Autumn Orange Salt and Pepper Mill Set 15cm - 6" - 2 Shades" (2/33286) -

Made in France. Made of PEFC certified beech wood. Set includes: a 6-inch pepper Mill and salt Mill. Pepper Mill has a 2 stage grinding mechanism made of case-hardened steel specially treated to keep the teeth razor sharp and protect from corrosion. Salt mechanism is made of corrosion resistant stainless steel. Two ribbed plates work to fracture and crush coarse Dry Sea salt to a consistent size. Classic grind adjustment on both Mills: turn the top knob tighter (clockwise) for finer grinds; looser (counter-clockwise) for coarser grind.

Nice but with a little problem

It's really nice, I will use it every day. But I'm disappointed that I can't change the grind and the salt is too fine. I can't find any setting.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Annoying

NO to these grinders - not worth the money at all

the grinders work badly - especially the salt grinder doesn't work at all Any grinders from supermarkets work better. I give 2 points instead of 1 because they look good

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Working speed

Beautiful looks, excellent work

Very easy to find the right brand of coffee grinders. They look really good in my kitchen. I've been looking for new ones because I can't stand the sight of silver anymore. They are easy to clean and refill. I recommend!

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Modern

It's not worth it. the best in kitchen and dining

For a $60 set, that sucks. It grinds very finely and slowly, and to adjust it you have to loosen the screw, causing the platter to wobble, almost to the point of falling. They seem very cheap and honestly don't grind salt and pepper much better than Costco's $3 set. You look nice, but that's about it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Dubious purchase for seniors

Same - the salt mill is out of order

The design is stunning - and this set is just perfect for decorating the room. However, for real-world use, this is a bug. Like many others here, the salt mill broke completely after a short period of use. Peugeot is a well known manufacturer but they clearly have major quality/construction issues.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Almost never

No windmill and no wheat mill. But a salt and pepper mill.

My mum had trouble with her old coffee grinder which often jammed, we tried to get her an electric kit but it was too delicate and ended up running on the AAA batteries included in the kit out and he stopped working. I bought her these and they are great, never bind, grind easily and you have precise control over the salt and pepper compared to the mess of electric grinders she has used before, highly recommend.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Great grinders, if a bit tricky to use

When people come to us they always add these grinders. When you buy them, looks are probably the main factor, so they're amazing for that. In actual use, the handle needs to be held in place by some aspect of your hand in order to achieve an even grind. I never use salt as I also have a salt container on my counter so it's not that big of a deal. They are both serviceable and look great.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Some Cons

UPDATE: 10-MARCH-20 CHANGED TO ONE STAR I WOULD GIVE ZERO IF I COULD. They've had some time and the salt mill is a piece of shit, yes it was good at first but it didn't work long before it stopped properly - it unscrews itself - as others have commented, and it barely produces any fine white powder before it WHATEVER gets stuck where you tightened screw, the pepper comes loose at that point and I have to keep readjusting the grind, BUT the grind is COMPLETELY UNEQUAL and USELESS in both cases…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Little things
