Was too small to fit on an Ace hardware extension but works I have 4 Ace rods, all with broken tips, which Ace doesn't sell (handy huh), also bought https://smile.amazon.com/Structron-60279-Ultra-Threaded-Repair/dp/B00W3CAC06?ref_=ast_bbp_dp It was quite expensive but looks like it will last a long time as it is made out of a rod not a metal pot. It also fits like a glove on a pole.

Fits some but not all "acme " threading tools and accessories

Can't find a price but don't expect it to work in all applications. Some of my tools with standard thread bits won't get into the first grooves, while others have no problem. I think it has something to do with the depth of the first set of them. Today I used my gutter cleaning tool and it twirled just fine, but I can't use my saw head. Luckily this saw came with a Docapole 24ft telescoping pole, but it would have been nice to have a lightweight aluminum rake kit that I attached this adapter to

We saved our expensive pole

We bought a very nice telescopic pole to change the lighting in our vaulted ceilings and to clear cobwebs under the eaves in our entryway and around the house. It worked great for several months until the plastic tip broke due to poor construction. The diameter of the top section was slightly smaller than this tip, but I couldn't find anything else that would work at all, so I gave this one a try. As expected it was too big but after wrapping some electrical tape around the rod this tip gotโ€ฆ
