Description of Pferd Wood Rasp Rectangular Medium

Rectangular shape with rasp-cut teeth on both sides for aggressive removal of material. Single-cut file teeth on one edge for finishing, sharpening, and deburring. No teeth on the other edge to protect adjacent surfaces. Medium coarseness grade for a medium-rough finish. Tang for use with an optional handle (sold separately).

Don't Waste Money: Not Worth it!

This product was a huge disappointment. Through trial and error, I found that it did not work well on my woodworking projects. The rasp seemed to dull quickly and didn't smooth out the wood as I had hoped. While it may have some uses in Industrial and Scientific settings I cannot recommend it for woodworking or finishing products..

This tool is amazing!

I use this rasp to shape walnut rocking chairs and it cuts very well. It's easy to make a light cut, but it's also capable of removing a lot of wood in just a few strokes. This tool has a nice look and appears to be of high quality. I can only recommend this rasp!
