Some tubes were cracked or dirty when I first got them - most.

If you intend to use these for beads please note that the bottom is thinner than the top so they do not fit well in the bead trays and are difficult to stand upright. in general. Also, some of the tubes were cracked or dirty when I first got them - I was able to clean most of the dirty ones, but ended up throwing away 3 or 4 cracked ones.

NOT FOR PEARL STORAGE!

Well these are strong pipes, not flexible. And the lids won't come off accidentally. So if this definition fits your needs, they should work fine for you. However, I bought to store beads. Definitely NOT FOR A PEARL. Removing the lids is so difficult that when the lid comes off your beads will fly all over the place. The other reviewer is right about the bead storage and you can read his review. Again, NOT FOR PEARL STORAGE. I returned them all.

I was looking for an easy way to store these resistors in a small package.

Bought these tubes to store a set of contact resistors for use in my electronics class. I've been looking for an easy way to store these resistors in a small case and organize them so I can quickly find the values I need. Resistances are easy. The lids I've found have been set somewhere between reliable and frustrating as I couldn't get enough grip by simply pushing and pulling on the top, I actually had to get my nails into the bottom edge of the lid and with considerable force draw. I suppose
