Excellent product. The thermal pad is pre-cut to the correct dimensions and the product will work properly with the standard backplate. The only two issues I have are that the RGB cable is non-standard and doesn't come with an adapter ($10 with shipping) and the RGB strip itself is pretty fragile. I bought this unit for my Strix 2080 ti almost 2 years ago. It comes with clear instructions and high quality thermal pads. Installing the block was very easy. The weight of the card, block, connectors and water seems much heavier than the stock cooler. So if you're mounting horizontally directly into a PCIE slot, I highly recommend using a GPU support bracket to avoid card sag. I had the 1080Ti version of this water block (previously used EK, sorry it sucks). It's expected to work and perform the same as the Strix 1080Ti version. Looks better and can be used with a standard backplate unlike ekwb. I've never been a fan of EK as they sold the product separately and the user had no choice. Trust me, phanteks GPU block is great or even better than EKWB.

This water block is for this specific GPU made specifically for this GPU for the Asus RTX 2080 or 2080 TI to be exact. Well, with that said, it will fit almost any RTX 2080 or 2080 TI that has a triple fan and is the same length as the Asus Rog Strix 2080 TI and 2080. If you look at the pictures you will see that It fits very well with the GPU board that we use with thermal compound and also comes with thermal insulation strips to attach to the board. This is a beautiful WB from Fantex. I didn't use the RGB strip that came with it. This would require me to buy another RGB controller. I unscrewed the bottom cap and replaced the band with a Corsair band to minimize complexity. It's not a perfect fit, but the lights will hide the gap.
